I chose this watch because I wanted basic functionality for the core training. It ‘exceeded my expectations in every area. Pulse is measured quickly and accurately (I checked the professional heart rate monitor). The display is large and bright. The main functions of clock (time, stopwatch and back) are present and functioning properly. It ‘easy to program and use. It is estimated that well made and is sturdy enough to use more than one month I had. The price is exceptional, given the quality and functionality of the clock. This is a great country, so do not expect anything invisible.

I wish it worked when desired
I was looking for a heart rate monitor for p90x and came across this HRM. I placed the order and then waited, and …. waited. There shipping speed is slower than super saver shipping!
Finally when the order arrived I tried out the watch and discovered that it was not always on heart rate, rather you need to place 2 fingers on it to detect your heart rate. Thus you can’t use it to warn/detect when you are out of your “zone”. I could’ve lived with this but just when I needed to find out my heart rate the most (while working out) it refused to tell my heart-rate and would just go back to the time display mode. Maybe I got a defective unit, but I wasn’t willing to wait another 10 days to get a different model and so I returned the piece. Hopefully others will have a better experience.

Great Watch/Heart Rate Monitor~sturdy & accurate
I received my watch/heart rate monitor quickly from the seller….It was also packaged well. I have seen these watches for a much higher price elsewhere. The price was very reasonable and the watch is sturdy and accurate. I purchased the blue one and it looks good enough to wear casually. My husband has recently started working a very physical job and I plan to get the black one for him so he can check his heart rate on the job. We both love to keep physically fit and this will be a handy tool. I love mine and plan to recommend it to my friends who are into fitness.

Simple to use — just what I was looking for
I recently started a regular exercise program and decided that a heart rate monitor would be a good “accessory” to have. I didn’t realize that most of them require a strap in order to get a reading. And, many of the strapless versions are quite expensive, poorly rated, and have too many extras.
When I found the Isokinetics heart rate monitor watch, it seemed the best of all worlds: simple, inexpensive, and small enough to fit my wrist. At $29 with free shipping, it was a real bargain. Less than a week after I ordered it, I’m wearing it and extremely happy.
The monitor/watch fits my small wrist (with one notch to go). The one button testing is easier than having to use two fingers as some strapless watch monitors require. And it works! It uses regular watch batteries that can be replaced for about $5 at most watch repair/jewelry stores if you’d rather not do it yourself.
This was a good buy. 5 stars for sure!
